MM Marine Tow Masters Complete Tow and Mooring Hook-Up of FSO PTSC LDV at Lạc Đà Vàng Field

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — 10 September 2026

MM Marine Consulting & Services Company Ltd announces the successful completion of the offshore tow and mooring hook-up of the Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) unit PTSC LDV at the Lạc Đà Vàng field, offshore Vietnam. Three MM Marine Tow Masters directed the operation from tow-out at the Nantong shipyard, China, through to final hook-up of nine mooring chains and two risers, completed on 10 September 2026.

THE TOW

FSO PTSC LDV departed the Nantong shipyard, China, under tow on 23 July 2026 and arrived at the Lạc Đà Vàng field on 7 August 2026. The passage was conducted under the direction of MM Marine’s Tow Master, engaged to oversee the tow and subsequent mooring hook-up on behalf of the project.

Sea and weather conditions throughout the tow and hook-up operation were favourable, with southwesterly winds of less than 20 knots and wave heights below 2.0 m recorded, supporting a safe and efficient operation.

MOORING AND RISER HOOK-UP

On 10 September 2026, the hook-up of nine (9) mooring chains and two (2) risers to FSO PTSC LDV was completed successfully at the Lạc Đà Vàng field. The hook-up was supported by the following vessels:

  • Posh Falcon — station-keeping tug
  • Posh Osprey — station-keeping tug
  • ENA Jade — heading control tug
  • Posh Teal — offshore construction tug
  • Van Gogh — riser hook-up support
