Project Background

The SAO VANG (SV) and DAI NGUYET (DN) discoveries are located in the central to west area of Blocks 05-1b and 05-1c in the Nam Con Son basin, offshore Vietnam and approximately 350 km southeast of Vung Tau City, in water depths of 113m (LAT) for SAO VANG and 116m (LAT) for DAI NGUYET.

The development of SV & DN field is based upon the installation of two wellhead platforms. There will be a manned central processing platform at SV (SV-CPP) and a normally unmanned platform at DN (DN WHP). Wells at both fields will be gas condensate producers with surface trees. Initially 5 wells are planned for SV and 4 wells for DN with the possibility of additional infill wells to be drilled later.

Company is building and will assume operatorship for a gas-condensate Central Processing Platform (CPP) and Wellhead Platform (WHP) in Sao Vang (SV) and Dai Nguyet (DN) fields respectively in Nam Con Son basin offshore Vietnam. As part Drilling and Production activities, Company is endeavour to have a contract of provision of Mooring Buoy and associated services readied and fully functional in mid of July 2019
